Turn-based or real-time
Angle, power, wind and shot type — four factors decide whether a blast lands, whether you plan every turn or fire nonstop.
2D artillery game · turn-based & real-time
Set your angle, charge your power, read the wind — then fire. Every blast carves real holes in the ground, so you can send your opponents tumbling off the island to win. Just open your browser and play, on desktop or mobile.
What is Mini Gunners?
Players take turns: move, pick a shot, aim and fire before the clock runs out. Every shell arcs under gravity and drifts with the wind, so every hit is a calculation to be proud of. Prefer a faster pace? In Free Battle both teams fire at the same time — no waiting for your turn. Hand-drawn cartoon art with bold outlines, running smoothly right in your browser.
Angle, power, wind and shot type — four factors decide whether a blast lands, whether you plan every turn or fire nonstop.
Every explosion blows a real crater in the island. Dig the ground out from under your opponents to drop them into water, lava or quicksand.
No download, no install. Runs in Chrome, Edge, Safari and more — on desktop and mobile, with touch controls and full screen.
Two players on one device, online rooms for 2–6 players with teams and chat, or Free Battle team fights of up to 6 vs 6.
How to play
Each turn lasts 20 seconds (Free Battle has no turns: you can fire once every 3 seconds). Use the keyboard on desktop or the touch buttons on mobile.
Walk left or right to find a good spot. The stamina bar limits how far you can go each turn.
Raise or lower the barrel — the angle dial shows the exact angle, degree by degree.
Hold the key and the power bar rises; let go to fire. A faint marker on the bar shows the power of your last shot.
1 is your signature shot with unlimited ammo, 2 is a skill with a cooldown, 3 is your devastating Ultimate.
The WIND box at the top of the screen changes direction and strength every turn. Wind pushes your shells around — though some shots barely notice it.
The Rage bar under your HP fills up every turn, and whenever you deal or take damage. A full Rage bar is your chance to turn the battle around.
Falling into water, lava or quicksand means instant elimination — sometimes hitting the ground pays off more than hitting your opponent.
Enter opens chat (online matches), Esc pauses, M mutes. Drag the mouse to look around the map; press C to jump back to your gunner.
Arrow buttons to move and aim, and a big FIRE button to hold and release. Tap the shot slots to switch shots, and go full screen for a roomier battle. Works in both landscape and portrait.
In Vs AI and regular online rooms, if you miss 2 turns in a row, the game works out and suggests an angle and power (taking wind and terrain into account) until you land a hit again. Ranked has no hints — win on pure skill!
Game modes
From practising against the AI and real-time team battles to climbing the online ranks — pick the mode that suits you.
Practise against an AI opponent that reads the wind and terrain and always picks a different gunner from yours. Perfect for getting to know every shot.
Two players, one keyboard (or one phone): each picks a gunner and you take turns firing. Whoever falls off the island first loses.
Create a room for 2–6 players, choose a map and either Free-for-all or Red vs Blue Teams, then share the 5-character room code with your friends. Don’t want to wait? Hit Quick Match.
4 vs 4 or 6 vs 6 team battles with no turns: both teams move, aim and fire at the same time, and everyone can attack once every 3 seconds. Tap Free Battle, pick a format and you’re in — bots fill any empty slots.
Hit Ranked to be matched into a ranked game. A win earns +20 rank points (plus bonuses for damage and knockouts, up to +60); a loss costs −15, partly offset by the damage you dealt; abandoning a match costs −25.
Stand on the castle wall in a top-down view and hold back endless waves of monsters. Aim with the mouse or by touch and hold to fire continuously; press 2 for your Skill and 3 for your Ultimate.
Go solo or form a squad of up to 4 players to take down 1–4 AI-controlled giant bosses (there are always at least as many bosses as players). Bosses aim with deadly precision — they simulate thousands of trajectories before every shot.

Two players can share one device. To play remotely, go to Play Online → Create room and share the 5-character room code with your friends (up to 6 players, split into Red and Blue teams if you like).
Free Battle is a real-time 4 vs 4 / 6 vs 6 team battle: no waiting for turns, and everyone can fire once every 3 seconds. If you get knocked out, you watch your teammates fight on; if both teams still have players when the 4 minutes are up, the team with more HP left wins. Bots fill any empty slots, and if you join mid-match you take over a living bot. It is a just-for-fun mode, so there are no rank points and no rewards.
The WIND box shows the wind’s direction and strength for the current turn; the stronger the wind, the more your shell drifts. Some shots, like Seed and Sniper Shot, are barely affected by wind, and Divine Roots ignores it completely.
In Vs AI and regular online rooms, after 2 misses in a row the game suggests an angle and power for your shot. Ranked has no hints.
From 1 to 4 players, against 1 to 4 bosses (there are always at least as many bosses as players). Go to Boss Hunt → Solo, or Form a squad and share the room code with your friends.
